To meet the target to reduce the carbon emission is achievable if we work together as a society to change behaviour of the whole society, one person, business or sphere of society can not make the change, it needs everyone to take responsibility.
The environment group is open to residents of all ages in the parish. We will work on improving the biodiversity of the parish, maintenance of footpaths verges, ditches, and ponds, encourage tree and hedgerow planting . Build and provide bat boxes, nesting box and bug hotels. Carryout hedgerow, tree, species recording sessions. Promote waste reduction, including food waste, and home improvements to reduce carbon emission and reduce the use of utilities and residents bills.
